Pasta Sale! All Carbo-Nada pastas are on sale for $3.99 each (regularly $4.99) when you ask for the special. (Limit 4)
Please remember that, because of the Labor Day holiday, the bagels and pitas will not be in until Friday this week. If you need some in the meantime, we've got them.
Also, you might have noticed that the Thanksgiving form was posted yesterday. We are now taking orders for Thanksgiving 2008. And, there is a coupon for prepaid pre-orders for the month of September.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Labor Day. I certainly did enjoy my time off from work. Erica and I got to go out to Tokyo One for a little sushi with our friends. After eating a bit of sushi, we did some lite shopping and then headed home to ride out the rest of the day relaxing on the couch.
Since we had finished the Doctor Who series we were watching, we put in Cowboy Bebop to continue where we had left off. This is one of my absolute favorite anime shows of all time. I find it hard to believe that it is 10 years old now. We finished off the second disc which leaves us four more. I getting excited about some of the up coming episodes.
Of course, the big news of the weekend was that New Orleans still stands. Hurricane Gustav huffed and puffed and did a bit of damage, but it came in at a Category 2 and missed a direct hit on the city. The good news for us is that the storm system form Gustav is supposed to bring us some rain and cooler temperatures tomorrow. While the cooler temperatures might not be long lived, the rest of the 10 day forecast seems to have the highs in the very low 90's. Bring on the fall weather.
