I'm not really an animal person. I did, however, happen to marry into a cat household which, I'll admit, does make for some interesting moments. Last night, as the wind blew through Dallas, was one of those moments.

I know that animals are more sensitive than we are. Wilson, the cat, had already been freaking out because of the high winds, but when we opened up the windows both upstairs and downstairs, we got to enjoy the show of him sitting in the middle of the living room alternatively sniffing in the direction of each window and then looking at us as if we had some control over the situation.

Later in the evening, he came slinking through the living room with his weird low level freaked out meow and plopped down between the sofa and the coffee table as if to seek shelter from the storm. It always makes me wonder if the weather is worse than what I think it is when an animal is acting that weird. Of course, it could just be that the cat is just plain weird. It is after all the same animal that meows along with the alarm clocks in the morning like a dog.

What Your Back to School Personality Says About You

You are laid back and fairly dispassionate. Traditional concepts of success are not important to you.

You are most likely to succeed if you follow a proven path to success. You don't mind putting in long hours to achieve your goal.

Your greatest skill is organization. You are good at laying out a plan and making sure it gets followed.

Your biggest stumbling block in life is your lack of self confidence. You are a lot more capable than you give yourself credit for.

You're not quite sure what you're thankful for in life, it doesn't seem like there's a lot to be thankful for these days.
