Tonight, we have our yogurt buy one, get one free from 6 PM to 8 PM (limit one, excludes XL).

Tomorrow, we have our coke floats on sale for $2.99 (regularly $4.62).

We got in a few new products yesterday that are now out on our shelves. We got in Judy's Peanut Brittle and several different 4 oz round brittles made with nuts and popcorn or nuts and coconuts (low carb).

The winning number is worth 22 dollars today. (Remember that you must tell us the current number to redeem the elevated amount.)

One of the great perks of working in a bakery: hot oatmeal raisin cookies right out of the oven with vanilla frozen yogurt on top...Mmmmmm. I don't endulge often, but it sure did make a good breakfast dessert this morning.

I was at Restaurant Depot the other day picking up some items for the store. When I left, I noticed that there were three carts just sitting in the parking lot. I notice this a lot when I'm out at stores. Often, the carts are within 20 feet of a proper cart depository. In the case of my trip to Restaurant Depot, all of the carts were less than 50 feet of the cart collection center. I took two extra minutes to collect the carts and take them up the ramp to deposit them at the door which earned me a thank you and a warm smile from the cart collection man.

I always wonder when I see things like this if it has always been that way. Were we always so lazy, so expectant that other people would do the work, or so uncaring about what might happen after we leave the area that we just leave big metal carts lying around. I always like to take care of my own cart or mess. I think that by doing the little things, like moving carts out of the parking lots when we are done with them, we make the world a little bit better. Sometimes the little things don't seem like much. Nevertheless, they sure do add up quickly to change the shape of things around us.

Saturday Distraction: All the Smarts Quiz (Not hard, but tricky.)

Parfait Day! All parfaits are $2.99 all day long today (regularly $3.69). If you call ahead, we will be happy to put some aside for you. Sometimes, these things move quickly.

We're going through another stretch of unclaimed numbers this week. The winning number is worth 20 dollars today. (Remember that you must tell us the current number to redeem the elevated amount.)

Also, don't forget to come in today or tomorrow and show us your Blogger Card to get your number entered twice for the drawings during the month of October. If you don't have a Blogger Card, ask us about it when you are in the store.

Friday in the News: One of the most popular events at the ancient Olympics was an extreme fighting event called the Pankration. Which of these was one of the very few restrictions on fighters?

A. No eye gouging.
B. No killing.
C. No grabbing and pulling out of the intestines.

Answer: No eye gouging. (The only other known rule was no biting.) The other activities were definitely legal, and there are recorded instances of them. (This story brought to you by the WWDTM daily calendar.)

World Cup 2007: The US team got handed a solid defeat, its first in 51 matches, by a Brazilian squad that dominated from the start of the match to its 0-4 finish. When you go down by an own goal in the first 20 minutes, it is never a good sign. The inexplicable move of changing the goalie from Solo, who played the very well in the first 4 matches, to Briana Scurry by coach Greg Ryan didn't bode well for the team either. Hopefully, they can regroup for their match against Norway on Sunday.

Germany on the other hand turned in another great performance as they defeated the Norwegian team 3-0. They move on to the championship match against Brazil on Sunday. I'm picking Germany for this one, and I'm still going to choose the USA over Noway for third place.

German defenders celebrate a goal down field while maintaining for their fifth shutout of the tournament.

Today's secret word: Yankees. Come in today and tell us the secret word to get a free small yogurt. (Limit one per person.)

The English Muffins, pita (both regular and whole wheat), and bagels have arrived. We have the following bagels available: Blueberry, Sweet Wheat, Cinnamon, Onion, White and the Perfect 10. We had a good number of mail orders this week, so it is best to come in early to get the best selection.

The winning number is worth 18 dollars today. (Remember that you must tell us the current number to redeem the elevated amount.)

Double Bonus
: As we come to our last month of 100 Days of Blogger, we have decided to spice things up a little a make a special offer to our loyal blog readers. If you come in today, tomorrow or Saturday and show us your blogger card, we will put your number in again into the pot so that you will have twice the chance to win during the month of October. You have to come into the store and show us your card to take part in this offer. Good Luck!

While my hopes of seeing the Yankees over take Boston for the AL East title are disappearing with each Boston win (only 2 more needed), the NY Yankees did manage to clinch a playoff berth for the 13 season in a row last night with a win over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. I think that the Yankees might find themselves in a better position entering this post season than they have in the last few years. Maybe this year will see another wild card win the World Series. :) I wouldn't mind that at all.

Side Note: Halo 3, the little video game that I mentioned on Tuesday, took in an estimated 170 million dollars in one day!

Mmmmm...Pretzels

Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Devil's Food Cake, Butterscotch, Boysenberry, and Candy Cane.

Teacher Day! Teachers can get a small yogurt for 99 cents all day long by showing us their school ID.

The winning number is worth 16 dollars today. (Remember that you must tell us the current number to redeem the elevated amount.)

I don't have a lot of weaknesses when it comes to food. It is pretty easy for me to work here because I don't crave chocolates or candies or the bakery goods that we make. I do however have a soft spot when it comes to pretzels and kolochies. About a year ago, I signed up for Auntie Anne's monthly newsletter because I hands down prefer their wonderful pretzels. The newsletter often sends a coupon for buy one, get one free or other such offers. At the end of the month, it is not uncommon to find me at the mall getting a pretzel. Of course, they also include things other than coupons in the newsletter. This month, they had the history of the pretzel:

610 A.D.-
An Italian monk, his name now lost to history, decided to reward his students by serving them baked scraps of leftover dough. He rolled and twisted the dough to resemble his students, who folded their arms across their chests when praying. After baking the dough to a golden brown, he called the finished product "pretiolas," Latin for "little rewards."

A good idea like this one didn't take long to catch on – "pretiolas" spread throughout Europe and were considered a symbol of good luck, long life, and prosperity. German children, for instance, wore them around their necks to celebrate the New Year, and it wasn't long before they began adorning the tops of Christmas trees.

1510-
A group of Turkish invaders sought to mount a sneak attack against the city of Vienna, Austria, by digging tunnels underneath the walls. But pretzel bakers heard the commotion, sounded the alarm, and grabbed their weapons to help fight off the attack. Their actions were rewarded with a seal that included a depiction of a pretzel.

Mid-1500s-
The German tradition of eating pretzels during Good Friday dinner is introduced.

The classic pretzel's three-hole shape begins to take form. The three holes represent the Christian trinity of "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit," and pretzels are thought to bring luck, prosperity, and spiritual wholeness.

The wedding phrase "tying the knot" got its start when a pretzel was used to tie the knot between two prominent families. The pretzel's loops stood for everlasting love.

1600s-
Hard pretzels were discovered by mistake, when a bakers' apprentice fell asleep by the furnace and let the treats bake "too long." At first, the baker was mad at his apprentice for his carelessness, but upon tasting these pretzels, quickly realized he had an opportunity for something big.

1620-
Pretzels may have made their way to the United States on the Mayflower. It is said that the Pilgrims traded pretzels with the Native Americans for various things.

1800s-
Immigrants from around Europe came to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and brought their pretzel recipes with them.

1861-
The first American hard pretzel factory was opened in Lititz, Pennsylvania. The artisans of the day rolled, baked, and salted pretzels by hand.

1988-
Anne Beiler buys a stand in a Downingtown, Pennsylvania, farmer's market and Auntie Anne's is born.

Today-
Auntie Anne's bakers make 100 million pretzels per year (using enough dough in the process to wrap end-to-end around the earth three times).

Quiz Day: The Reality of Life in Orbit (Space Quiz)

You answered 8 questions correctly out of 10. You're ready to move to orbit if you got all 10 correct. You'd survive a short-duration mission if you got between 7 and 9 correct; between four and six, a sub-orbital flight is more your speed. Less than four? Feel lucky you are still on the ground.

The multiple viewings of the classic 80's film Space Camp finally pays off. I guess I should have paid more attention to the food when I was last in Huntsville, Alabama.

A little game called Halo 3 was released at midnight this morning. It is predicted that this could be the biggest game launch in history with over 150 million dollars brought in over the course of 24 hours. I'm looking forward to playing this game in mid-October but will have to wait since I don't own a 360. Nevertheless, I'm excited to see the trilogy come to an end, and the game has gotten very positive reviews both for its game play and story line. So, if you are one of the thousands taking today off of work to enjoy the first day of Halo 3, I hope you enjoy it.

World Cup Update:

The US and German teams both rolled into the semifinals with 3-0 impressive 3-0 wins over their quarterfinal match opponents. The US team dominated England and held them to only 3 shots on goal during the 90 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Germany fended off a pesky North Korean team with some quality defense and took advantage of the scoring opportunities that they were given. This match marks the fourth straight shut out for Germany who has not allowed a goal in the 2007 World Cup.

On the other side of the quarterfinal bracket, both Norway and Brazil advanced to the semifinals with a one goal advantage over their opponents. Norway took out the host team China. As the brackets reset for the semifinals, Germany will match up against Norway on Wednesday and the USA will match up against Brazil on Thursday. Personally, I'm hoping for a USA v Germany final.

German golie Nadine Angerer moves to catch the shot from Ri Kum Suk of North Korea.

Yesterday was the first day of Fall, but it seems as if the weather is convinced that it needs to force penitence upon us for the relatively easy summer that we have had. The next week's worth of weather will see us stay at the low 90's. Maybe by October we will get our first stretch of cooler weather. It not that the weather we have now is horrible. Nevertheless, I am ready for a permanent cool breeze.

I awoke early this morning to go to a dentist appointment. Upon arrival, I found out that my appointment was for tomorrow. :( Fortunately, the nice people at Monarch Dental were able to fit me into a slot and have me out the door before work. I don't think that I will ever be a big fan of the dentist or doctors in general; however, I am getting used to going every 4 to 5 months. It is not as bad as it used to be. The fact that my last three check-ups have been all positive helps. Hooray daily flossing! Of course, now that my teeth are cavity free and properly tended, the doctor has moved on to the next step of wanting to remove my wisdom teeth. We'll see.

There is a bit of a shake up in my college poll this week. Unfortunately, I saw a couple of my teams take there first loss of the season. While they move down, others move up the ranks. My 25. (I refused to rank Michigan.)

Congratulations to the Cowboys and Packers for their 3-0 starts. Tomorrow is Halo Day!

After several weeks of having my old monitor and computer sitting around our house, I finally got around to take it in for recycling today. My wife was kind enough to wake me up early when she got up, so I was able to get a move on it and go over to Carrollton in time to drop of the old 19" CRT and older P233 computer. I took it over to Intechra which does recycling for corporate business and individuals.

Thankfully, I know that this business will recycle or re-sell what I have dropped off, and I am glad that it won't just end up in a landfill leaking Mercury and Lead into the water supply. Intechra has a zero landfill policy for all recycled electronics. They reclaim every ounce of plastic, glass, metal, and wire from the electronic devices. If they cannot reclaim a part (e.g. batteries), they send it to a company that they audit to ensure that nothing goes into a landfill. I highly recommend dropping off your old monitors, computers or peripherals here next time you are ready to upgrade. (They also have high standard of security to insure that data on the hard drive is not recovered.)

The man who took my items from me gave me a sheet when I was leaving that had some facts about waste in America. The average American generates 4.5 pounds per day or 1,600 pounds per year. Here is a break down of the waste: (click to enlarge)

Football Friday: Tomorrow sees the start of the first matches in the elimination round of play for the Women's World Cup with Germany v. North Korea and the US v. England. Both of these should prove to be good matches. On Sunday, Norway will play the host team China and Brazil plays Australia. Here are my weekend predictions:

Germany, USA, Norway, and Brazil will advance.

The Australian team celebrates after their victory over Ghana.

Oktoberfest begins this weekend with the annual kick off celebration in Addison and at German restaurants around the Dallas area.

I didn't forget National Talk Like a Pirate Day, but we had too much going on up here for me to do it justice. Yesterday was one of those crazy days from start to finish. Hopefully everyone else was able to get a little pirate talk into their day for some added fun.

The store is starting to get into the holiday swing. We put up the order form for Thanksgiving last Saturday. Believe it or not, the deadline to order is only two months away. We're already in the process of getting our holiday orders in and should start receiving them in the next few weeks. We're looking forward to offering some new options this year to everyone.

While most of our preparations take place in the last few weeks of October, we don't really set up and put merchandise out until after October. I heard and unverified report yesterday that someone noticed a major chain putting up Christmas trees in the store. I have to say that I certainly think that this is way premature. Although, I have completed over half of my Christmas shopping. :)

Of course you do slip up. No one's perfect. But you do your best to correct your missteps.

You are also probably: incredibly honest, especially with yourself

It seems like every time I read the paper I see another article telling of the great benefits of exercise. Today was no exception. A new study shows that both aerobic exercise and strength training help to combat blood sugar levels and therefore reduce the complications that can be associated with diabetes. It's a little more motivation to get back into a workout routine. After all, working out before any problems arrive at your door is the best way to go about it.

World Cup Update: Congratulations to the US team as the women defeated Nigeria to move on to face England in the elimination round. North Korea also moved forward despite their lose to Sweden in their final match of group play. They will play the defending champions Germany this weekend. Groups C and D will finish there play tomorrow to finalize the set up for the elimination round which begins on Saturday.

Yesterday was nice and relaxing. After staying out late for the pirate celebration on Saturday night and waking up for church on Sunday morning, I needed a day to take it easy. Thankfully, my wife was happy to join me for one of those wonderful two hour Sunday afternoon naps. Upon waking up from our slumber, we went to the mall to use up my Eddie Bauer gift card. I got one pair of jeans, one button up shirt, and one polo type shirt for 19 dollars after the 50 dollar gift card. I feel like I got a whole new fashion line. Besides, the jeans were greatly needed.

After a quick trip to Kohl's, the hunger began to strike. We opted for a repeat session at Berryhill on the NW corner of Frankford and Preston. After a second dinning experience, I am ready to anoint Berryhill as the makers of the best chimichangas ever. We set outside and enjoyed the nice weather and wonderful food. I can tell that this is going to probably be one of those places were I am interested in trying more of the menu but will have a hard time pulling away from my favorite item.

My wife and I went to Topz in Addison again last night. The second trip was even better than the first. We both tried their turkey burger with cheese and they were yummy. We agreed that the turkey burger just might be better than the Black Angus burger. I am going to have to remember when we go again in a couple of weeks to specify the sweet potato fries as the default is the standard potato which I do not care for but suffered through last night.

We also watched the first three episodes on the first season of the new Doctor Who. She was kind enough to sit down with me and give the show a go. I was pleasantly surprised to hear my wife say that she actually though it wasn't bad. While I'm sure that this doesn't amount to a ringing endorsement, I'm pretty sure that it means that she won't mind seeing the rest of the season.

This weekend is going to see some piratical goodness. With the International Talk Like a Pirate Day coming up on September 19th, my friends and I will celebrate tonight with a concert by the Bilge Pumps and a pirate movie or two.

Friday in the News: In March 2005, researchers Thomas Fuchs and Ludger Woessman of Munich University concluded that computers make children dumber. They studied more than 100,000 15-year-olds across more than 30 countries and concluded, "Holding other family characteristics constant, students performed significantly worse if they have computers at home." In fact, they have "problem solving deficit disorder." The cure? Books and creativity. (This story brought to you by the WWDTM daily calendar.)

I met a group of friends last evening for trivia at the Flying Saucer in Addison to try our hand at the pop culture laden trivia again. We failed. Horribly. I'm pretty sure that we never scored higher than 50% on any of the four rounds. The quiz master had also changed the format a little bit which did not play to our strengths at all.

I'm still convinced that a number of people cheat during the trivia game by using their computers or phones to look up answers. It's unfortunate that people feel compelled to cheat. Nevertheless, I look at the examples that we have around us and it seems that cheating has become the norm. The Patriots apparently cheated in their opening game against the NY Jets. The response to this has been a resounding chorus of "It's not right, but everybody cheats." When did we as a society start throwing the conjunction on to the end of the it's not right statement? I think it is a sad comment on our culture of win at all costs.

Regardless of cheats and scandals, I still love sports. I've noticed over the last few days of following the Women's World Cup that the coverage is not nearly as intense as the male counterpart. While this doesn't particularly surprise me, one area that is lacking does: photos. I've been looking for the last few days to post a photo of some of the action, but I have not found a single photo for any of the first round games. At least the coverage and write ups on the games is current. Yesterday saw three points awarded to the host team China for their win over Denmark. Brazil, Norway, and Australia also won their opening matches.

What a refreshing surprise I had this morning when I walk out of the front door to go to work, a cool breeze. It felt so good to be below 70 even if it was just for the early part of the day. I know that it will get warm again, but this is the first cool start to the day that promises more to come. Fall is right around the corner and it makes my heart sing. I love the cooler weather. Heck, I love downright cold weather, but I settle for the cooler weather that we get around here.

Well, the US women's team escaped with a tie yesterday against North Korea in a match that settled at 2-2. Fortunately, everyone except for Germany finished off with a tie yesterday. All of Group B recorded only one point for their first match, so the US team still has a great shot at moving forward with a couple of victories.

The oncoming fall season always means that there are more than enough sports to keep me busy. It is the best time for baseball, and college football provides weekly entertainment and suspense. Added to the mix this year is the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup. The first match has already been played in the host country of China. Germany made a strong statement that it intended to defend its 2003 victory. By strong statement, I mean that they dominated Argentina 11-0. Impressive, most impressive.

In addition to all of the football this weekend, both of the American and world variety, my wife and I added a baseball game with our Sunday school class on Saturday. The Rangers have been playing very well as of late. It is too bad that they are playing to get to .500 rather than playing for a shot at the division or the wild card. I will admit that I was guilty of watching the Texas game during part of the baseball game. Go Longhorns! However, the best thing about the game was that they had a fireworks show afterwards. Not that we stuck around for the show, we instead had no problem with traffic as we left the stadium in the 9th. I love not having to deal with traffic.

We also had a chili cook-off up at Parkway Hills on Sunday as part of a community outreach. Although they had said that they were going to be judging the chili put forth by each Sunday school class, we never did hear a result for the winner. I guess that I will have to except the empty crock-pot as evidence that our chili was good. It was the first time that I have made chili, so I am glad to see that it was well received.

I haven't talked much about it, but I am excited about college football. The great upset of Michigan last week had me smiling all week. :) The Texas game against TCU this week has me a little bit nervous. The great thing about college football is that the unexpected can happen and normally does happen at least once a week. The is a constant flow to it throughout the season. Sure, the big powerful teams win most of the time. Yet, there is the occasional upset. Moreover, when two traditional titans go at it like OU and Miami today, you get to see some wonderful match-ups. As is our tradition on Saturdays during the fall, we will have the ESPN College Game Day ticker running on the computer. Go Texas!

In other sports news, get ready for some World Cup coverage over the next few weeks. The FIFA 2007 World Cup starts Monday. The beautiful game kicks off in China with the Group A match featuring the defending World Cup champions Germany against Argentina. The USA will look to regain the title after losing it to the German team in the FIFA 2003 World Cup. We've got a great team and a nice group to run through this year, so I like our chances in the tournament. Go USA!

The last few days have been rather interesting in regards to the number selection for the blogger cards. The selection is random even if it does not seem that way. Today's number will break the recent trend. Perhaps today's number will also break the recent trend of unclaimed prizes. Current Winning Blogger Number Prize: $20 (Remember that you must tell us the current number to redeem the elevated amount.)

Friday in the News: We love our new cars and that new-car smell, but in 2005 we learned something disturbing about that smell: New car fumes are dangerous. Just sitting in a new car can subject riders to toxic emissions from the PVCs in the dashboard and seats several times the limits deemed safe for homes or offices, according to a 2001 study by Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization. (This story brought to you by the WWDTM daily calendar.)

Happy Birthday Wishes to the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network. ESPN launched 28 years ago today bringing in a new revolution in sports coverage. As one of the early adapters to the emerging cable TV medium, ESPN paved the way for 24 hour specialized sports coverage. While some of the early coverage was interesting to say the least, the sports channel caught one with sports fans around the nation and has become a staple on cable TV lineups across the nation. Want a free small (7oz) yogurt? Tell us the original name of the channel, both the acronym and what it stood for.

I did some surfing on the websites that I posted yesterday. When I came across this link, it dawned on me that the bracelets that we all proudly wear around each day that sprouted up overnight with the Livestrong bracelet are simply a replacement from the Hollywood ribbon campaign of the late 90's. I've had this thought before, but it was always an in and out thought that never stuck around long enough to develop. You don't often see people wearing ribbons anymore. Our cars might wear them in their evolved magnetic form to support our troops, our environment, piracy or other things of that nature, but not many people actually wear a physical ribbon anymore.

Bracelets, on the other hand, can be seen on lots of different wrists. From the business man to the soccer mom to the musician in the corner cafe, the bracelets are a way for us to say that we support a cause greater than ourselves. Maybe that's why the ribbons and the bracelets strike such a cord in us. We get to feel like we are doing something right and fighting for something worthwhile. Soon, it becomes fashionable to have them. At some point in time, because they no longer tell of our individual caring nature, we move on to the next thing. Whatever that next thing is, someone will make a fortune on it.

Yesterday was one of those days. They seem to follow the nice relaxing days off as if to remind us that reality is back in force. The day itself was busy with orders coming in, going out, and deliveries being made; however, the real fun stated when I noticed that the website was down. Turns out that the server where our website is hosted crashed. Long story short, the website has now been moved to a new server and everything should be fine. I just hope that I don't have to go through that again any time soon.

On the plus side, the weather has taken a wonderful turn. The ten day stretch on weather.com is showing a streak of about eight days of scattered showers with temperatures in the low 90's to upper and mid-80's for the highs. :) It looks like the brief hold that summer had on us is starting to wane.

Speaking of the weather, I watched a program on PBS that I found interesting last night about global dimming. I must have missed this one the first time around, but I am glad that I caught the show this time. It turns out that our pollution is a bit like Janus. One face that it presents to us is the global warming aspect with which we are now familiar, even if we are inactive about it. The other face is the environmental pollutants such as sulfur and soot and other particulate matter and smog causing agents that we in the West have taken more aggressive stand against.

According to this program, the latter of the two has actually served to decrease the effects of global warming because they contribute to an effect called global dimming. Thus, cleaning the particulate pollution without addressing the CO2 admissions is detrimental. While corporate and governmental leadership is needed, the consumer ultimately votes. Even small changes make a difference. If you want to know more about this program, here is a link to the website.

It was pointed out to me that I forgot to list the code for shipping underneath the calendar on Saturday's post. I have gone back and changed it. Sorry for the inconvenience. The code is SAPPHIRE9. (Save 5 dollars off of any order of 55 dollars or more.)

Yesterday, I took the day off from the store. My wife and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary by sleeping in and going to Tokyo One in Addison for lunch with some friends. (We had our anniversary dinner on Saturday night at Daddy Jack's.) The rest of the day was spent in a lazy haze. The kind of day when nothing productive gets done except for naps and video games. In short, we relaxed. I hope that everyone else had a wonderful Labor Day also.

If anyone is looking for a great sushi bar, Tokyo One is a nice option for you. While the lunch menu lacks a few options that you will find during dinner, I recommend lunch for the value. Sixteen dollars for all you can eat sushi is just a great deal when the sushi is done right, and the sushi is done right at Tokyo One. The wait can take a while during the lunch hour, but you are ready to go as soon as you get seated and order your drinks. The large variety means that if you get one peace of each type of sushi and sashimi, you will have over 20 on your plate. Moreover, they have a nice selection of salads, vegetables, tempura and other cooked items if the idea of eating raw fish makes anyone in the party a little uneasy.

Despite the wonderful time that I had gorging myself at Tokyo One, I think that the best meal of the weekend goes to Daddy Jack's. Located in the heart of Deep Ellum, you would be hard pressed to find a better restaurant for a dinner with a loved one or a small group of friends. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is incredible. While the main menu only has around 12 options, there are different specials every night. We are looking forward to going back next month.

We also ate at the Rainforest Cafe on Sunday with her parents. The food was good; however, the atmosphere was lacking. If you have kids, this might be a good place to take them. If you have a party of grown adults, the food does not make up for the gorillas that grunt and shake trees above your head every 15 minutes or the loud elephant noises. It was a little too loud and busy for civilized conversation, but all the kids there seemed to have a great time.

My wife and I found out that Friday nights are a great night for us to go out and enjoy a night on the town. We discovered this as we set down to dinner and started to receive the play by play for the game that was taking place at Trinity Christian Academy. It made the dinner conversation a little bit harder but a lot more humorous. On the plus side, we got home from the mall and had no problem walking into the house because it was lit so well from the football field. Really, it wasn't bad at all since the game ended by 10:30 P.M. However, we will start planning a few evenings out for Friday night home games. We might even wonder over to one of the games when the weather cools off a little bit more. (By the way, congratulations to the Trojans on winning their season opener.)
