As mentioned yesterday, the bagels were not shipped this week because of a line issue at Western Bagel. We do have plenty available in our store for this weekend.
The management group that has taken over our apartments seems to be doing a lot of things to improve them. In addition to giving a half month of free rent for lease renewals, they have undertaken an exterior upgrade project and are building a new fitness center. They are also more responsive to the needs of the tenants. And, the new manager of the property will actually speak with the residents. The last point is the one that was the kept us at the apartments.
The one problem that we are having, however, is with our air conditioner. The ants have eaten through the coil again. This marks the fifth time that this has happened in our 12 months. When we get home today, we both have high hopes that the AC will be fixed. The last two evenings have been a little warm in the apartment. Thankfully, the last few days have not been excruciatingly hot so the apartment has not been warmer than 84 on the lower level.
