Brett Favre has left the building. It seems that after months of coverage, this story is finally going to end with Favre getting traded to the NY Jets. I don't really care anymore. I started to loss respect for Favre when he wanted back. When you retire from a job, you should stay retired. When you leave a team that you have been with for 14 seasons, you don't turn around and put them in the position that Favre did.
His stature has gone from an icon to that of your average selfish sports star who is convinced that their is an I in team. (Even I can spell that one.) So, he gets to play again. It won't matter much to me. Sadly, I'll never get that jersey that I wanted because the number 4 in the green and gold doesn't mean what it used to. Just another player with really big numbers and an even bigger ego. Maybe New York can contain it. Welcome to the AFC.
