I came across an article in the USA Today about complications from diabetes. This is worth the read for anyone, but particularly those who have diabetes or pre-diabetes. Very often we like to stay in denial about the complications of this or other diseases because they are in the distant future which is a time frame that most of us have a hard time seeing as a reality. Nevertheless, the complications and the consequences are real although with proper diet and exercise they can often be avoided.

I'm not sure about the legendary travel, but the adventure part is true. I love to go new places and have new experiences.
