The game was a lot of fun last night. For any one who likes sporting events, I highly recommend checking out a FC Dallas game this year. The crowd was loud and colorful. While we were unable to come away with a win, it was a perfect night to take in a game. The only major downside was sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes afterwards waiting to get out. So, I sat in my car and listened to NPR and Mavs talk. However, the drive home was short and sweet.
Friday in the News: To honor George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld, in 2004 two entomologists named three species of slime mold beetles after them. The decision to name the beetles after Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld didn't have anything to do with the physical features, says Quentin Wheeler, former professor of entomology and plant biology at Cornell, but to pay homage.
