One day in the next year or two, the Mrs. and I are going to buy a house. As part of the planning that goes along with an event of this magnitude is the savings plan. Thankfully, we have a little bit of a head start on this and have several investments that are starting to pay dividends both literally and figuratively. Additionally, this week we have set up several others.

As with many things in life, the hardest part of it all is having the patience to see it through. But the pay off should be wonderful even if owning does require some extra work. I have already warned her that it will take me a few years to get used to not having to move every year. Of course that still leaves where are we moving to this year?

Only the Kitchen

Outside of a few odds and ends, the only thing that remains is unpacking the kitchen. I will finally have the entire apartment set up by Sunday evening. It is going to be great getting to go home and cook and sit down and relax without having to get up in a few minutes time to continue unpacking. I think that next weekend will be nice. There is a possibility that I may go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with some of my friends this evening. If I do, you can expect another movie review on Monday. I think that this will be the number one movie this weekend with 35 million plus in the three day stretch.
