Oktoberfest Review: If you’re looking for a nice change of pace to sit and enjoy food and drink with some friends, then this might be a good event to try. The weather was nice. Sitting outside and talking can be accomplished anywhere, but the festive atmosphere and the carnival rides in the back ground make events such as this fun to attend.

The expense was present, but the price wasn't so high that an individual or couple would not want to attend. The food was good, but seemed to be a little too small for the prices charged. The event is sponsored by Paulaner who had exclusive rights to the bier sales. Ergo, the bier was a step above what you would normally find, but not the best that Germany has to offer. The price for a pint, four dollars, is very reasonable. Overall Grade: B-

Only the Kitchen

Outside of a few odds and ends, the only thing that remains is unpacking the kitchen. I will finally have the entire apartment set up by Sunday evening. It is going to be great getting to go home and cook and sit down and relax without having to get up in a few minutes time to continue unpacking. I think that next weekend will be nice. There is a possibility that I may go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with some of my friends this evening. If I do, you can expect another movie review on Monday. I think that this will be the number one movie this weekend with 35 million plus in the three day stretch.
