Music to My Ears

Last night I got a chance go to the final rush event for my fraternity. It is a great time as the brothers get an opportunity to share what Kappa Sigma means to each of them. Of course, one of the fun things about events such as this is getting to see other alumni and catching up with everything going on in their lives. The hosts of the event are getting ready to have twins in the next two weeks and the father was proudly talking about having two new little Kappa Sigma boys. Some people can't understand why anyone would be somewhat active in a fraternity after college; I can't imagine it another way.

I've been enjoying the fruits of last weekend's labor all this week at work. The reorganization of my CD collection has greatly expanded the number of options that we have for music at the store. It's been a week of rediscovering Eisley, Peter Yorn, Depeche Mode 101, The Catherine Wheel, The Beatles and the Old 97's. I love music. It affects my mood as much as anything to hear music that I enjoy. I didn't realize how much I had been missing some of these albums until I heard them again.

The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Toffee Coffee, Chocolate Malt, Peach and Very Berry.

Remember that our monthly special is Crème Pies for $14.99 (regularly $19.99) We do have several on hand that you can come in and pick up for this weekend if you would like.

Oddly enough, these are all things that I have thought about doing. It's pretty rare to find one of these things that can nail done all of the options across the board. Let us know what your results are by leaving us a comment.

The weather man was calling for rain all this weekend and that's OK because we need it. If we are fortunate, we may get the rain around our Labor Day weekend events. I hope that everyone has a wonderful time. We will be open on Labor Day from 12PM-6PM.

This is a pretty good test. I've seriously considered several of these careers. One of my favorite jobs ever was as a preschool teacher.

I did it twice because I felt some of the things were a toss up.

So once I got Brad's result: Brainy, Logical, and Efficient

And once I got unruly duckling's result: Detail-Oriented, Observant, and Hard-Working
