Milestone

So it happened on the first day of fall that I found myself running over a mile for the first time in my life, if memory serves correctly. Less than 5 days after my amazement at being able to run 3/4 of a mile, I was able to press through to a full mile and a little beyond. Apparently, 6 mph is a quick pace to run, but it seems like a perfect stride for me. I think that I should be able to add a quarter to a third of a mile each week now. This self improvement thing is pretty cool once you give yourself over to it.
