Summer's Last Stand

Today is the last day of summer and we are going to be reminded of the true power of Texas heat. Today's high will be 98 degrees, not the Nick Lachey band, but the actual temperature. After all of the nice weather that we have had over the last few weeks, it is hard to believe. This will be the hottest last day of summer recorded in Dallas. Thankfully, the next ten days shows a couple days of rain and only one a day near the upper 80's. It may be hot today and warm tomorrow, but autumn is just around the corner.

The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Pistachio, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon.

This weekend is we have all of our Cake Breads and Pumpkin Breads on sale for $14.99 (regularly $19.99 and 18.99). You can still order any of the Cake Loaves for tomorrow if your order is in by this evening.

Friday Fun Fact: Once detonated, a thermonuclear fusion bomb takes only 600 billionths of a second for the ten main post detonation steps to take place. These include implosion of the fission bomb; release of radiation, heat, and neutrons from the fissioning rod; and fission in the U-238 pieces from the bomb's tamper and shield. The resulting explosion of a Teller-Ulam fusion bomb, the basic design of all thermonuclear bombs today, is equivalent to that of 700 Little Boys-the type of bomb that was detonated over Hiroshima.

Happy Birthday Wishes to Billie Paul Piper. This British beauty made her initial mark as a pop singer but really saw her star rise when she took on the roll of Rose Tyler in a little show known as Doctor Who. She has since left the series, but is continuing in her acting career. Want a free small yogurt (7oz)? Name last episode of Doctor Who in which she ended her run as Rose Tyler.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend. Don't be too bummed about the weather. After all, it is bound to change and autumn is on its way.
