Murphy Days

Yesterday seemed to be one of those days for a lot of people. I don't know if it was the rain or what, but it just seemed very hectic and stressful. Thankfully, days like that, for as bad as they can be, are often just one good event away from being great. I've been called an optimist before. I think that I may just be and that is a good thing. I just can't imagine having any reason not to be. After all, if 99 days out of a hundred are OK, good or great, who am I to really complain about one that was bad that turned out so well? ;)

The winner for last week's poll was Pumpkin Pie/Sweet Potato Pie. Tradition wins again. I will admit that I was tempted to vote for left overs, but there is something about a good sweet potato pie. I can't get the poll site to work today so I'm just going to ask the question and allow for responses: How Often Do You Go to the Movies Each Year?

I would estimate that I go to see 4 to 5 movies each year. The funny thing is that when you don't go to the movies very often, you never really know what is coming out. If I didn't have to sit through commercials for 15 to 20 minutes (yes, I know that trailers are commercials as well, but I don't mind them), then I might go to a few more. Better movies would encourage me to go as well.

I probably go to 1-5 movies per year. Sitting still for that long makes me antsy or sleepy. I usually get up & go to the bathroom just so I can walk around a bit.

I go to a few movies a year. For some reason going to the movies gives me anxiety. What if there's no parking? What if we're late? What if it's sold out?

As you can tell from my comment on this post I tend to get a little stressed out over weird things.
