The weather has been rather nice this month. With highs in the upper-80's to mid-80's for most of the start of it, October has been pleasant. We are supposed to have a minor cool front come through this evening which will see the high temperatures for the next few days top out in the upper-70's. Now were starting to talk about my type of fall weather. My favorite time during both the fall and the spring is when the day time temps are in the mid-70's and the evening temps are in the lower-50's. :)
The election is just a few weeks away now. Early voting starts next Monday for all of Texas. I will post on Monday's blog the information that you will need to partake in the early voting process for Dallas, Collin, Denton, and Tarrant Counties. Just in case you are looking to avoid the long lines on election day. Or, if you are avoiding election day all together by going out of town like my wife and I.
If you're still undecided, here is a good place to start finding out about the candidates:
League of Women Voters
Don't forget to check out the other candidates as well. While it is still possible to do a straight ticket vote by choosing one of the three major parties, it might be worthwhile to find out if the candidates actually stand for what you believe in before just checking this option.
