I signed up for a morning boot camp physical fitness program this month. It meets three times a week, but you can add more days if you wish. After the first two meetings, I find myself saying, "What was I thinking?" Waking up at 5:15 AM to go get my butt whipped for an hour is not my idea of fun.
Nevertheless, the second day did go better than the first. That doesn't mean that it was easier by any token. The program is non-stop. From the moment we start, we are in constant action. Running, lifting, running, crunching, lifting, running, and so on until after forty minutes you are ready to be done. The only problem is that there is still another 20 minutes to go.
I'll be interested to see how I feel after the first week. I know that after the first day, I felt horrible. Yesterday, I was sore for the entire day. When I awoke this morning, my body didn't want to go. Showing up to the workout site, however, the motivation kicked in and I tried my best. This might be a good thing after all.
