If I know one thing certain about the debate last night, it is that Joe is the new everyman. I came into the debate about 40 minutes into it and heard a confusing exchange about this average Joe. Humorous as it was, the debate did not survive past my drive home. Fifteen minutes of back-and-forth after the previous 6 weeks of back-and-forth was too much even for this poly sci geek. My only unanswered question of the night was whether or not Joe watched the whole thing.
After a day of rain and mostly muggy weather yesterday, it was nice to walk out to cooler temperatures after closing last night. It was a wonderful 56 degrees this morning when I got out at 6 AM. The weather has definitely hit a good pattern for me. I'm looking forward to the next week with the cool evenings. Hopefully, this weather pattern will hold for another week or so after this stretch so that we can have nice weather in Eureka Springs at the beginning of November.
