Our apartment community has recently switched management groups. I think that, in the long run, this will be a positive change. However, the result has been a shortage of maintenance workers on the property. Three weeks into our outstanding maintenance request, we finally got our work done today.
Three weeks of waiting for multiple maintenance requests to be finished would normally cause me to move; however, we've decided that we are willing to give the new management a chance. This decision was based in large part on the managers willingness to speak with me in person, something that the previous manager was never willing to do.
Hopefully, this will prove to be a wise choice. When it comes done to it, moving is a pain, the location is nice, and the apartment itself is not to bad for the price. Since we've decided to wait out the housing market for another year with all of the uncertainty of life, it seems like a good call to stay. So, we'll sign up for another year long tour of duty later this week.
