Green Tip: Many hotels ask guests if they want fresh sheets and towels each morning. If you can make do with a change every other day, you'll save water and energy and reduce the wastewater treatment stream. In one linen reuse program, about 70% of guests participated, enabling a hundred-room hotel to reduce its monthly water usage by 48,000 gallons and its detergent usage by 320 gallons. July is always an interest month at the store. It will prove to be a little more interesting this month. For anyone who does not know, the new Sprouts is opening next weekend, the 18th of July. We will once again have an anchor store behind us. We're looking forward to welcoming our new neighbor. In the next month, Home Goods should open as well.

July is also the start of our Christmas planning. Our monthly meeting in July typically has Christmas at the forefront. We'll start looking at new options and little changes to the gifts that we create. After all, the sugar free market doesn't have much in the way of ready made gifts, so we put them all together here the month before Christmas. The planning, however, takes place during the summer so that we can get all of our orders put in for the packaging and the chocolates.
