After all of the good buzz that we had heard about WALL*E, my wife and I decided to go see it earlier than planned. We went on Sunday afternoon and were not let down. This film is different, and different is very good. Like many Pixar films, it is great for adults as well as children. The amazing thing is how well the children in the theater reacted to it given that the first 30 minutes has very little spoken dialogue.
Despite the lack of dialogue, the film does not move slowly. The explots of WALL*E are entertaining and endering. By the time that any substinative dialogue does occure, the audience has already bought into the comunication between the robots. The prospect for the future in this film is dimmer than most, but that future also has a silver lining.
If you are looking for a fantastic film for your family this weekend or are going on a date with a loved one, I recommend this film to you. It might just be the best film that Pixar has ever made. Also, if you are a science fiction fan, you will find several gems hidden throughout WALL*E for you. Great movie magic. Movie Rating: 5 out of 5.
