Walk the Plank
Down at the old Tipperary Inn last night, we went to see a little band of musicians called The Bilge Pumps. 7 Guys dressed as pirates singing bawdy tunes of the high seas with gags and improv galore. It was a little bit raunchy and a whole lot of funny with a good measure of slap-stick. The small venue was almost perfect as it brought the audience right into the action although it was had to hear at times. If you like pirates or off beat humor, check them out the next time they are in town.
I never thought that I would say this, but thanks to Laura Miller for her Dallas smoking ban. After several nights out in Addison were the smoke was thick in the air, it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy the show without my eyes hurting or my throat feeling sore in the morning. Kudos.
The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Toffee Coffee, Orange Vanilla and Raspberry Cheesecake.
We have received our shipment of Bagels, Pita and English Muffins. We have all varieties on hand (Perfect 10, Blueberry, Cinnamon, Onion, Sweet Wheat and White). Better late than never, Right UPS?

Fun Fact Friday: In his seminal study on corporal punishment, Dr. Ralph Welsh found that 100 percent of violent inmates at San Quentin had suffered extreme physical punishment as children. In 1979, Dr. Welsh of Connecticut, a founding member of the National Center for the Study of Corporal Punishment, interviewed hundreds of psychologists, prisoners and citizens at large. Besides finding that all violent criminals at San Quentin had been physically abused, he discovered that 64% of juvenile delinquents had similar beatings, while 0% of college freshman he interviewed at UC Davis and Cal State University, Fresno, had suffered that kind of treatment.
Happy Birthday Wishes to Edward Norton. Mr. Norton in my opinion is one of the finest actors of his generation. With films such as Fight Club, Death to Smoochy, American History X, Primal Fear and Rounders to his credit, he is a true Hollywood star. He got his start in theater at Yale University where he obtained a B.A. in History. Want a free mini (4 oz) yogurt? (Limit one per person.)
