Trivia Night

Last night my friends and I went to the Flying Saucer in Addison. On Tuesday nights, the Saucer hosts four rounds of trivia with ten questions in each round. Having had a prior engagement, I arrived in the middle of round 2 for which I was able to get a couple of questions for the team. One of the fun things about my group of friends is our diversity. This can make for a potent trivia team. We fell hard in round three like most of the teams there, but had a bit of a rebound for the movie trivia in round 4. :) This could be a fun weekly event.

The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Chocolate Malt, Roasted Almond, Orange Vanilla and Raspberry Cheesecake. Today is $3.69 Shake Day. (Regularly $3.93-$4.62)

We did get a new variety of the GNU Flavor & Fiber bars called Chocolate Brownie. This bar is also 12 grams of fiber and only 2 points for Weight Watchers®. We also got two new types of syrup from Walden Farms: Strawberry and Blueberry.

A Friend In Need

This weekend was a wonderful weekend for me to catch up with friends. Yesterday, I was able to see my best friend who, though it seems like months on end, I have not seen in a month. It was good to be able to sit down and talk again. Many times there are difficulties in our lives, but it is great to know that we are able to turn to others to ask for help. I'd like to thank her for being my friend through everything because that friendship means so much to me. It looks like this weekend’s rain will leave us for a short time to return again next weekend. Wasn't it great? It seemed like the perfect weather to cleanse and renew after so many months of dry, relentless weather. Three weekends in a row would be fantastic. I am thankful for the rain that we have received.
