Green Tip: Liquid fabric softeners may contain derivatives of ammonium chloride (harmful to some aquatic life and a trigger for allergy and asthma symptoms). Keep it out of the wastewater stream by substituting a quarter-cup to a cup of white vinegar, which leaves your clothing soft and doesn't leave behind any scent. A myriad of reasons contributed to the massively late blog entry yesterday; however, I was finally able to finish my TBR list. It should be noted that the books are not listed in the order in which I intend to read them. I'll base that on a combination of gut feelings and what is easily obtained from my book shelf. I'm also going to have to get some of these from my local library and my local friends.

The challenge also suggested picking a list of alternates in case something on the list is unappealing to you. While it is not a full list of twelve alternates, here is my list:

City of God-St. Augustine of Hippo

A Scanner Darkly-Philip K. Dick

Much Ado About Nothing-William Shakespeare

Left Behind: A Novel of Earth's Last Days
-Tim F. LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins

The Hobbit-J.R.R. Tolkien

To Sail Beyond the Sunset-Robert A. Heinlein

Cities of God: The Real Story of How Christianity Became an Urban Movement and Conquered Rome
-Rodney Stark

The Picture of Dorian Gray
-Oscar Wilde

Pere Goriot-Honoré de Balzac

(Since yesterday was such a crazy day, I didn't get to a chance to post a comic. I have gone back to yesterday's post and corrected this.)
