The weekend is almost here which is exciting because we are going out for Erica's birthday tomorrow to Daddy Jack's Wood Grill in Deep Ellum. This is one of our favorite local restaurants. We always tell everyone about it because both the food and the service are outstanding and it is a wonderful dinning experience. Since her birthday fell in the middle of the week and class got in the way, we moved the dinner to Friday night.
The nice thing about restaurants like this one is that you can get dressed up and go out. I think that is part of the fun. It is nice to go somewhere out of the ordinary for special occasions. Of course, we will be aided by the Entertainment card from the Dallas Passbook. You should get one of these books if you like to eat out because you are definitely missing some wonderful savings without one.
