The Birthday Princess

Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Grasshopper, Banana Macadamia Nut, Boysenberry and Strawberry Shortcake.

Today is Cone Day! All yogurt cones are $1.85 today (regularly $2.72) all day long.

Today is also my lovely wife's birthday. Happy Birthday! She had a birthday breakfast cooked for her this morning and has gotten a few cards in the mail. Plus, I've got a few surprises for her tonight. We baked off one of the low carb German Chocolate cakes last night from Dixie Diner and are looking forward to trying that this evening when she gets home from class.

While birthdays can always be a special day, they seem to lose a little bit as we get older. It's harder with work or school to really be able to relax and enjoy the day. Nobody really wants to take a statistics test on their birthday, but sometimes you have to do it when you have a birthday during the semester. As for it being a special day, it is all in what you or those around you make it. All in all, I hope that she gets to enjoy her birthday.

Quiz Day: Are You Ready to Buy a Home?

You Are Possibly Ready to Buy a Home

You may be ready to buy a home, but you probably need to do more research.
Are you really ready to settle down in one place and make a huge financial commitment?
You probably need more time to decide if buying a home is for you.
Crunch the numbers and look at a few open houses. You'll figure out whether buying a home is something you want right now.

After ready my friend’s blog about his experience with laying down pipe in his front yard, I'm not sure that I really want a home. But, a town home sure does sound intriguing.

Taken as though I didn't already have a mortgage...

***You Are Ready to Buy a Home***

You're financially secure and responsible, and you would make a great homeowner.
And you're pretty well educated about real estate and the home buying process.
Don't despair if you can't find the perfect home within your price range yet.
Keep saving, and you'll get there eventually.

Thank goodness, considering we've been house-hunting for a month.
