It seems like every time I read the paper I see another article telling of the great benefits of exercise. Today was no exception. A new study shows that both aerobic exercise and strength training help to combat blood sugar levels and therefore reduce the complications that can be associated with diabetes. It's a little more motivation to get back into a workout routine. After all, working out before any problems arrive at your door is the best way to go about it.
World Cup Update: Congratulations to the US team as the women defeated Nigeria to move on to face England in the elimination round. North Korea also moved forward despite their lose to Sweden in their final match of group play. They will play the defending champions Germany this weekend. Groups C and D will finish there play tomorrow to finalize the set up for the elimination round which begins on Saturday.
