Friday in the News: In a letter to www.poynter.org, John Kroll responded to the news about the death of Elisabeth Kuber-Ross by saying, "Really? Darn! What if...Sigh. OK." The Swiss-born psychiatrist, who died at the age of 78 in 2004, humanized the treatment of the terminally ill and helped to inspire the hospice movement. Happy Birthday Wishes to Orson Scott Card. Mr. Card is a well know science fiction writer. His best known work is Ender's Game which is considered a must read for many science fiction fans. He is also the author of the Alvin Maker tales which is an alternative history series that I am currently reading and very much enjoying. One of the best classes that I took in college was called American Science Fiction because it introduced me to Ender's Game and Orson Scott Card. Want a free mini (4oz) yogurt? Only the Kitchen

Outside of a few odds and ends, the only thing that remains is unpacking the kitchen. I will finally have the entire apartment set up by Sunday evening. It is going to be great getting to go home and cook and sit down and relax without having to get up in a few minutes time to continue unpacking. I think that next weekend will be nice. There is a possibility that I may go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with some of my friends this evening. If I do, you can expect another movie review on Monday. I think that this will be the number one movie this weekend with 35 million plus in the three day stretch.
