As I mentioned on Saturday's blog, we are going to make some changes to the 100 Days of Blogger for the month of September. Don't worry, you're going to benefit from them. Starting September 1st, we will add a skins format to the promotion. A portion of any unclaimed prize will be added to the following day. We thought that this would be a fun new aspect to the game. Tomorrow, I will give a break down of the bonuses.

This weekend, my wife and I rented and watched Stranger than Fiction. If you haven't seen this film, I would certainly recommend it. This is an atypical Will Farrell movie, but it is one of his best works. The acting is excellent and the story is very well developed. At the end of the film, you actually feel like you have spent quality time getting to know the characters and that your investment has been well rewarded. Movie Rating: A-

We also went out with our Sunday School class for dinner Sunday evening. In our 6 months of being involved with this class, this is the first time that we've actually gone out with anyone from the class. This is partially our fault as we like to go home and cook after church and sometimes throw in the ever popular Sunday nap time, but it is also something that seemed to be lacking over the summer. Of course, summer schedules often seem to make this kind of thing harder.

The class has started this year (it seems like we never really stop defining our years by the school calendar) with several fellowship events which has been nice to see. I think it is good to know those around you whether it is your neighbors, your fellow church goers, your classmates, or your customers. The world seems to have in many ways set itself up against this core part human interaction over the past 100 years. Sometimes we have to fight and schedule and take the extra effort to spend a little time getting to know one another. It was great to be able to sit down and talk with everyone over dinner.
