Last night saw an new one for the records book in the American League. The Rangers now hold the record for the most runs scored in a single game. When the first game of the double header ended, this was the box score:
While they missed setting all-time the major league record by 8 runs, they did set the modern day record. This is a mark worth remembering. After several showings of futility in their last few games, the Rangers showed up in a big way last night. Congratulations to the team on a spectacular performance.
