Yesterday, Phil came out and didn't see his shadow so we should be in for an early spring. I'll believe that when I see it. Nevertheless, this odd annual tradition of turning to an over-sized rat to tell us what the seasons will do has provided us with one of the great comedies of all time which was appropriately named Groundhog's Day. This Bill Murray classic has for the last 10 years provided my friends and me a reason to gather and enjoy each others company in college and beyond.
This year, the event has moved to Austin which is the one of the founder's, and former proud employee of Sugarless deLite, new abode. So, tonight I shall trek down to Austin with the future Mrs. to take part in the 11th Annual Groundhog's Day Party. It was touch and go with not felling well for the week, but this morning I awoke felling mostly refreshed. (Double Bonus: Threadgills and West, Texas Kolaches.)
