Of mice and men...

On my way to a 9:00 AM appointment this morning, I happened upon a stranded motorist in the left hand turn lane westbound on Spring Creek in Plano. As I pulled around the Chevy Silverado and came to a stop next to it, I decided to see if they needed assistance. The young lady seemed please and nodded her head yes.

For the men out there: If you see someone in distress or a vehicle actively being pushed, then be and man and help. Do not honk, shout, or speed by on either side of the vehicle. Take a moment from your day and do something worthwhile. If you pass up the opportunity to help someone in need, you've passed up the opportunity to truly live life.

For the ladies out there: If you ever find yourself in a position such as this young lady, please remember that your hazards should always be on, the car must be in neutral for it to be pushed, the car should be stopped at red lights just like any other time you're driving, the car should not be stopped until you are close to the car in front of you.

Despite taking 15 minutes to push the two ton truck thru the two lights to the safety of the church on the corner where her roommate met us, I was only 5 minutes late for my meeting, an exchange that anyone should take on any day.

Flavors for the day: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Butter Pecan, Caramel, Banana Macadamia Nut and Marshmallow.

Thursday's new feature is the weekly poll. The poll question may or may not have anything to do with the store, current events, movies, music, food or life in general. Today's poll is at the request of our baker who has asked us to settle the age old question of What is Robin William's Greatest Film? Make your voice heard!

Of course I still will post a random link for Thursdays as well. This site is awesome. I'm not sure if everyone will appreciate this, but if you have high speed internet and have ever seen Star Wars, check this out. If you like star wars, have dail-up, and 10 to 15 minutes to wait for the download, then take the time and enjoy the show. Enjoy!
