Double-Double for Dampier
Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks and to Erik Dampier for showing up strong in the first game of the playoffs, something that the Dallas Stars forgot to do. If Dampier puts in a Double-Double every night, I think that the Mavericks will have a long ride in the playoffs. This is a team worth watching. Diamond Note: The Texas Rangers have managed to pull out of a terrible start to the season and claim a share of the AL West lead. It's a young season, but their hitting is coming around, and off season moves in the pitching rotation are starting to pay dividends. Wouldn't it be nice for this not to fall apart?
