I learned about a new feature called blogger in draft yesterday. Essentially, this allows for easy changes, such as adding new elements, to the blog even though some of the changes might not be a permanent addition to the blogger family. I took a little bit of time yesterday and played with a few options. Here is what I changed:

Added the MLB Scoreboard on the right hand column. (Located between Friends of Sugarless D and Boredom Busters.) While I know that not everyone is a big baseball fan, Rick and I are and this makes checking the scores and standings a breeze.

Added This Day in History on the right hand column. (Located between Blog Archive and Labels.) If you're a history fan, you're going to like this one. Each day a random historical fact is generated with a synopsis in the side bar. You can learn more by opening the fact in a new tab or window.

Added Search This Blog on the bottom of the central column. (Located below the stat counter.) I've wanted this feature for a while. It might be of primary use to me; however, you can now search through the entries for this blog to find an old posting. If you are feeling adventurous, you can expand your search to any of the following options: Linked from Here, Enlightening Locations, Friends of Sugarless D, Other Blog to Read @ Ur Own Risk, Boredom Busters, Virtual Sugarless D, and The Web. (Since it is at the bottom of the page, viewing the results of a completed search does require one to scroll back to the top. This is a minor inconvenience that I hope they improve upon.)
