Friday in the News: John Kay, who led the 1960's rock band Steppenwolf, has gotten rich licensing his song "Born to Be Wild" to just about anybody who wanted it. But it turns out that he, too, has limits. He turned down a request for the song from Paris Hilton. The producers of Ms. Hilton's reality show, The Simple Life, wanted to play the song as they showed her cavorting across the country, but Kay turned them down, saying, "There are certain things even a rock and roller will not stoop to and this is one of them."
