At shop after shop, the sound of the Salvation Army bell rings loud and clear this time of year. I end up spending a bit more this time of year since I put a dollar in each one that I come across. One of the greater joys that I have found in the last year or two is the joy of giving. Of course, the holiday season is often one that focuses on giving and many charities do a large portion of their fundraising this time of year. The need is, however, is great.
There are many wonderful organizations that have needs this holiday. The wonderful thing about giving to charities is that there are so many to choose from throughout the year. We've got a list of charities at home. I am going to go through the list a post two each day next week. Who knows? There might be something interesting on there for you.
