Here it is... we have made it through another year. All the events of this year can now become nostalgia in the annals of 2008.

Ricky and Stacey have a few words to publicly say as this year closes.

To our staff of Sugarless deLite- We thank you for your efforts and loyalty through the past year. To Stephen (Macgiver Falcone), Wylee (too cool for an alias), Larry (the official Dude Man), and Dalton we thank you for being part of this crazy family. To Tim, your genius creativity in the bakery is known by many. To Brad, the master manager of this domain-your efforts, guidance of our staff and juggling of the many hats you wear very well is appreciated, especially when things get "ganza meshugah", which is often.

To our customers-without you, we wouldn't be here. We appreciate your patronage, your loyalty and we will do our best to make sure our products are always first quality.

For the last trivia of the year,it is only fitting to take a look at "Auld Lang Syne"

Auld Lang Syne" is a song by Robert Burns. (1759–1796).The song's (Scots) title may be translated into English literally as 'old long since', or more idiomatically 'long long ago', or 'days gone by' (Wikipedia). I will end this year with the rendition and translation of AULD LANG SYNE.

Verse 1
Should old acquaintances be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?
Chorus
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld Lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!

Verse 2
And there's a hand my trusty fiere,
And gie's a hand o thine
And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught,
For auld lang syne

Verse 3
We twa hae run about the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine,
But we've wander'd monie a weary fit
Sin auld Lang Syne
Verse 4
We twa hae paidl'd in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne

Translation:
Verse 1
Should old acquaintances be forgotten
and never remembered
Should old acquaintance be forgotten
For old long ago
Chorus
For old long ago, my dear
For old long ago
We will take a cup of kindness yet
For old long ago
Verse 2
And there is a hand my trust friend
And give me a hand of yours
And we will take of a good drink/toast
For old long ago
Verse 3
we two have run about the hills
and pulled the daisies fine
but we've wandered many a weary foot since old long ago
Verse 4
we two have paddled in the stream
from morning sun until dinnertime
but seas between us broad have roared
since old long ago

On a very serious note.... We want everyone to have a great time this New Years Eve. Have fun, get crazy, BUT
" If you Drink...DON"T DRIVE!
"If you are Driving.... DON"T DRINK!

It only takes one second of recklessness to ruin yours or someone else's life.

Happy New Year............See you 2008!
