Parfait Day! All parfaits are $2.99 today (regularly $3.69). It is not a bad idea to call and order these. They tend to go very quickly when they are on sale.
The bagels, pita (wheat and white), and English Muffins have arrived. We have received our shipment and have all varieties of bagels (Blueberry, Sweet Wheat, Cinnamon, Onion, White, and Perfect 10) on hand in the store.
The bagel shipment will be a bit off for the next two weeks. Next week, we will receive our shipment on Friday instead of Thursday. The first week of the new year, we will not receive a shipment. It's not a bad idea to stock up.
Today is the deadline to order for the holidays. Unlike Thanksgiving, we are usually able to fit in a few more orders after the deadline, but it is always best to get an order in early if you know that you need one.
Some of you might be starting your weekend early or taking off the remainder of the year starting today or tomorrow. If any of you are traveling, I hope you have a safe trip. We'll work away to help make the holidays a little sweeter for anyone who is staying in town. With only a few days left, we're into the crunch time.
We stay very busy over at the store, and I spend most of my hours of the days up here in the week before Christmas. Nevertheless, I'll head out a little early tomorrow evening to head to the Bavarian Grill for the Festivus celebration. A group of my friends through a Festivus party each year here and gather together a host of people for the traditional airing of grievances and feats of strength. A fun time is sure to be had by all.
