Seven Day Itch

This was a great weekend all things considered. It was nice to enjoy a few White Elephant parties and I was able to hand out a few true Christmas presents. My girlfriend and I went to the Bass Performance Hall on Saturday evening to see the Texas Ballet performance of the Nutcracker. It was the first time that I had been to Bass and it is a wonderful hall. We both had a lot of fun getting dressed up and going out on the town.

After three months of searching, we also found and joined our new church home at Parkway Hills. This was like the cherry on the top for the weekend. It's nice knowing where your home is.

Today all UT Dallas students get a free small yogurt with their student ID.

Only the Kitchen

Outside of a few odds and ends, the only thing that remains is unpacking the kitchen. I will finally have the entire apartment set up by Sunday evening. It is going to be great getting to go home and cook and sit down and relax without having to get up in a few minutes time to continue unpacking. I think that next weekend will be nice. There is a possibility that I may go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with some of my friends this evening. If I do, you can expect another movie review on Monday. I think that this will be the number one movie this weekend with 35 million plus in the three day stretch.
