Hello Moto!

My Motorola L2 arrived yesterday. I like this phone a lot more than the Sony Ericsson w300i. It will take a little bit of time to figure out how everything works on it because I am so used to Nokia phones. I might even cheat and read the manual. Nevertheless, it is nice to have a simple phone back in my hands that I don't feel like I'm going to break or accidentally trigger a camera, internet or iTune explosion. Yes, I am old fashioned. I still like a phone that is a phone. I am happier now that I have one. (It is really nice and shinny too.)

Last week's poll showed salmon as the resounding favorite for best fish. This week I am going to skip the poll question and switch to the comment game. The question for today is what is the first CD that you bought?

My second CD was U2's the Joshua Tree...the first was Richard Marx's Repeat Offender (What can I say? It was the 80's and his mullet was cooler than Bono's mullet.)

Thursday Motivator:

Victory becomes, to some degree, a state of mind. Knowing ourselves superior to the anxieties, troubles, and worries which obsess us, we are superior to them.-Basil King

Don't forget to release those skeletons from the closet and leave a comment with your first CD purchase. Enjoy the lovely weather today which should be cool, crisp and sunny. It looks like it will be a perfect fall day and wonderfully cold evening. Brrrrr...:)

If memory serves, and it usually doesn't, my first CD purchased was Nine Inch Nails - Fixed.

I remember the first cassette was Ace of Base... or was it the Beach Boys? hm.. First cd I bought? Hm, I remember receiving Boys II Men, I think the first one I myself purchased was the Dawson's Creek Soundtrack (which to this day is still a great mix!)

This is incredibly sad..

It was either the Backstreet Boys first album or Britney Spears' first...
