Taste Sugarless
This weekend marks the annual event know as Taste Addison. It will be my first time to experience this wonderful display of pallet pleasing food options. The weather looks like it will be perfect for tomorrow. If you're on your way there this weekend, don't forget to come by Sugarless deLite for a healthy snack after you've had your fill of all of the tasty foods.
If you need a Mother's Day cake or other fresh baked item from Sugarless deLite this weekend, then make sure to call and order by 8 PM this evening. Need options? Check out our cake and pie order forms.
The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, German Chocolate Cake, Coffee Royal, Angel Food Cake and Juicy Raspberry.
Friday Fun Fact: The phrase "mad as a hatter" came from the fact that hat makers tended to go insane. In the 18th and 19th centuries, hat makers used mercury for curing felt, causing as many as one in ten to go insane at one point. Unfortunately, the thousands of hat workers who handled the chemical did not know it was a deadly poison, whose side effects were anemia, inflammation of the gums, kidney damage...and insanity. Lewis Carroll's Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland was therefore rooted in reality. (This fact brought to you by the Fact or Crap daily calendar.)
Happy Birthday to Sophia Coppola. This wonderful director and not so great actress sure has some of the family talent. Want a free mini (4oz) yogurt today? (Limit one per person.) Tell us Sofia Coppola's most famous cousin. (Hint: Not Jason Schwartzman.)
Final Note: I've added another blog link to the Other Blogs to Read @ Ur Own Risk section. Welcome Newsvine, a huge collection of blogs and news. Enjoy.
