Getting the Split

Yesterday was a big day. First the Dallas Mavericks came out and manhandled the San Antonio Spurs to get the series tied at 1-1. Doing what all good teams should, they bounced back from a tough loss and made a statement. Now they have to match this characteristic with the one that the Spurs could not do, hold home court.

As if that was not enough, E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo) started with its traditional day of announcements before the first official day. Don't know what E3 is? Think of it as the Super Bowl of Nerd Dom. The single greatest event in gaming, E3 is where all of the big boys (Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony) show off all of there new toys (Xbox 360, Wii and Play Station 3) and all of the upcoming games and peripherals. This thing is huge. One of the employees yesterday said "I hope that you appreciate the fact that I am missing the coverage of E3 to come into work today."

So what was so great about the day before the first day? If you want the full rundown, then go over to Gamespot. But here is a brief rundown for you: Halo 3 trailer with a 2007 release date, Fable 2 trailer, Gear of War first level demo, Final Fantasy XIII trailer, GTA dual release on the 360 and the PS3, Resident Evil on the Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the Wii controller, Final Fantasy III for the DS and Sonic the Hedgehog for the PS3. Looks like the next few years are going to be expensive.

The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, German Chocolate Cake, Peanut Butter, Boysenberry and Pina Colada. Remember today is buy one, get one free from 6 PM to 8 PM (excludes XL).

We did get back in stock the yellow corn taco shells, Blueberry Doctor Rite protein bars and the Cinnamon Granola.

Now it's time to honor our Wednesday obligation by bringing you your Wacky Photo fix. If you have never heard of a little thing called cosplay, it is where people dress up as there favorite characters from anime or games. Some of these people really get into the whole thing and it is quite an interesting subculture. Here is a set of two photos with someone who has dressed as an elite solder from Halo.

Now to reveal the man who spent a lot of time on making this cosplay outfit.

That's a lot of work and effort and an excellent job to boot. Where do people find all of this spare time? And you thought that Halloween costumes were scary.
