Wow, what a busy first hour! The funny thing about retail or the restaurant business is that the business is almost always in waves. The first hour today was non-stop, but I wouldn't be surprised if the next 20 to 30 minutes is slow before the next wave comes into the store.

Don't forget that this weekend is a Pecan Pie Weekend. All Pecan Pies are $12.99 this weekend (regularly $19.99). Of course, we also have all of our crème pies for $12.99 as well throughout the end of the month (regularly $19.99). This is a great weekend to stock up on pies.

Only the Kitchen

Outside of a few odds and ends, the only thing that remains is unpacking the kitchen. I will finally have the entire apartment set up by Sunday evening. It is going to be great getting to go home and cook and sit down and relax without having to get up in a few minutes time to continue unpacking. I think that next weekend will be nice. There is a possibility that I may go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with some of my friends this evening. If I do, you can expect another movie review on Monday. I think that this will be the number one movie this weekend with 35 million plus in the three day stretch.
