Natural Grocers Now Open
Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Maple Nut, and Very Berry.
Cone Day! All cones are $2.08 today when you ask for the special price (regularly $2.77).
There is about to be a whole lot of activity on the four corners of land at Coit and Campbell. Two new grocery stores are opening within the next month. The first one called Natural Grocers opens today. Located on the Northwest corner, this grocery store specializes in natural and organic products at affordable prices along with a healthy selection of vitamins. I'll take my first trip over to our new neighbors after work today.
In an interesting twist that I'm sure we will see more of in the near future, Natural Grocers does not provide free bags at check out. While they do have an area where you can reclaim recycled plastic bags, they primarily encourage the use of reusable shopping bags. Thankfully, I've got one of mine with me for my first trip.
In addition to Natural Grocers, Sprouts will open next month. We will once again have an anchor store behind us. Sprouts is a grocery store that focuses on produce. While they have other options, good produce at a cheap price is their main strength. Both of these options will make shopping on my way home from work an even easier task. The amazing part it is that both of these grocers wanted to come into this market place at these locations. I'll be interested to see if both of them are still around in the next few years.
