Today is Teacher Day! All teachers can show their school employee ID and receive a small yogurt for only 99 cents.

Today marks the annual holiday of Juneteenth. This uniquely Texas holiday celebrates the emancipation of the Texas slaves on June 19th, 1865. General Gordan Granger of the Union landed on Galveston Island and issued General Order No. 3. With the help of 2,000 Union troops, the enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation began in Texas on this day.

Although it was originally a Texas holiday and became an official holiday in Texas in 1980, thirteen other states also now list it as an official holiday.

Quiz Day: How Real Are You?

You Are 82% Real

There's hardly a person on this earth more real than you are.
You have no problem showing people who you are, flaws and all.
For you, there couldn't be any other way. Because it's way too stressful to live an inauthentic life.
You're very comfortable with yourself. And because of this, you're able to live an exciting, interesting, and challenging life.

I'm 83% real. Do you think that's okay? Do you think I should do something different so I can be more real? Do you like my hair? What's your favorite band? Oh, you really like Bjork? Well I really like her too. What do you want to do for dinner? I'm not picky so you can choose. You really like pink? That's cool because that's one of my favorite colors too. Oh, you said "green". Well, I meant green, not pink...

Can I buy some real somewhere?

***You Are 67% Real***

You know who you are, and you're pretty darn comfortable with yourself.
Like everyone, you struggle with the parts of yourself that aren't so great...
But you're good at accepting who you are and not dwelling on your faults.
As a result, you're confident, optimistic, and very real.
