Go Team USA!

The Dallas Mavericks played a great game last night and have truly applied some pressure to the Miami Heat. The Mavericks are off to Miami for the next three games where, if they hold true to their playoff form this year, they will close out the series on the road. Let’s go Mavericks.

It's not too late to have something shipped for Father's Day. If you come in today before 4 PM and pick your items out, we can have it shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states for arrival by Friday the 16th. Also, you can reap the benefit of our 5 dollar Shipping Monday for UPS ground shipments for in-store customers.

The Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Coffee Royal, Banana Macadamia Nut and Lemon.

The Galaxy Granola is back in stock. We found out last week that the label is incorrect. The calorie count should read around 140, not 87. This takes the product to 2 Points® for a 1/2 cup serving. Galaxy Granola is working on a new label for this product.

We have also received our shipment of Butte Creek. We have our Pancake & Waffle mix and Oat Bran Muffin mix back in stock. This is an excellent line of stone ground mixes from the west coast.

It's kind of funny to think that making 62.8 million dollars on an opening weekend could be considered a mild disappointment, but that's what the film Cars is. This was hailed as one of the summer’s great blockbusters. It does seem to have a strong word of mouth so it should have a good run. If anyone saw it this weekend, I would love to know what you thought. Pixar does have a pretty good track record with these types of movies.

Here is an interesting article from the USAToday that presents information about diabetes. If you’ve ever wondered how much money is at stake on finding a cure for some of the most common diseases, this article will give you some pretty big numbers to think about. Of course part of the solution is making sure that while we wait for medical breakthroughs, we give people the tools to best take care of themselves. The second part of the solution, and the harder part, is having people take responsibility for their dietary program and their health.
