Bad Weather and Retail- Not Good Friends

When the skies got dark and the wind picked up, most people stayed put. It is the only time that shopping stops in the DFW Metroplex. Sugarless deLite is no different. We had  3 people in from 1:30pm until 5 pm. It is a scary time and our thoughts and prayers go out to the people that were in harms way.

At Least the Sun Is Out...

It seems like it got a little chilly last night. My apartment managed to drop down to 47 degrees. It is a bit harder to get out of bed and get ready when it is on the colder side, but the electric bill, or lack there of, is a site to behold. A Friend In Need

This weekend was a wonderful weekend for me to catch up with friends. Yesterday, I was able to see my best friend who, though it seems like months on end, I have not seen in a month. It was good to be able to sit down and talk again. Many times there are difficulties in our lives, but it is great to know that we are able to turn to others to ask for help. I'd like to thank her for being my friend through everything because that friendship means so much to me. It looks like this weekend’s rain will leave us for a short time to return again next weekend. Wasn't it great? It seemed like the perfect weather to cleanse and renew after so many months of dry, relentless weather. Three weekends in a row would be fantastic. I am thankful for the rain that we have received.
