In his Time did People see Thomas Edison as a Genius ?

With the death of Steve Jobs, we reflect on his life changing inventions and ask "How did he do it?'. The things that we reach in our pocket for,our smart phones, would they be here without the folks at Apple ? Are inventions unique to the people or are they a product of the time? If not Edison or Jobs would there be others that would have done the work ? I was watching a 2005 speech from Steve Jobs at the commencement at Stanford. He appealed to all of us to find a passion and enjoy every day in our life as if were the last  and to leave no regrets. Genius of and invention and of thought...not a bad combination. Rest in Peace.

Only the Kitchen

Outside of a few odds and ends, the only thing that remains is unpacking the kitchen. I will finally have the entire apartment set up by Sunday evening. It is going to be great getting to go home and cook and sit down and relax without having to get up in a few minutes time to continue unpacking. I think that next weekend will be nice. There is a possibility that I may go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with some of my friends this evening. If I do, you can expect another movie review on Monday. I think that this will be the number one movie this weekend with 35 million plus in the three day stretch.
