With the Final Four set for this weekend and the Masters not far behind, the last snow fall has passed, it's time for Americas Pastime to step up to the plate. As America has changed over the years, even from the early 1900's, spring training has been the rights of Spring. Think about it, baseball has endured Two World Wars, the Great Depression, Man on the Moon, dozens of political administrations and still, baseball. Our grandparents knew about baseball and spring training. Before there was an NFL,NBA,NHL or any league there was baseball.
The baseball haters say the game is too slow. I say that in football that they take 45 seconds between every play. The NBA is a game you can watch the last 5 minutes and not miss anything.Some men love football because they like to bet the games. Nothing is wrong with that but who cares when the Sunday night NFL game is KC vs the ST. Louis Rams but the bettors.
