Go Cowboys!

I've got to admit that the title is a half-hearted cheer at best. With the way that the Cowboys limped into the playoffs by losing 3 of their last 4 games to blow the division lead, my confidence is lacking. The only good news is that every team in the NFC, with the possible exception of the Saints, is just as bad. If the Cowboys get lucky or decide to play, then they might be able to make a run of it in the playoffs. It would be nice to see them play a couple of games and maybe just build something for the future.

At Least the Sun Is Out...

It seems like it got a little chilly last night. My apartment managed to drop down to 47 degrees. A Friend In Need

This weekend was a wonderful weekend for me to catch up with friends. Yesterday, I was able to see my best friend who, though it seems like months on end, I have not seen in a month. It was good to be able to sit down and talk again. Many times there are difficulties in our lives, but it is great to know that we are able to turn to others to ask for help. I'd like to thank her for being my friend through everything because that friendship means so much to me. It looks like this weekend’s rain will leave us for a short time to return again next weekend. Wasn't it great? It seemed like the perfect weather to cleanse and renew after so many months of dry, relentless weather. Three weekends in a row would be fantastic. I am thankful for the rain that we have received.
