Friday-Final Goodbye to The Most Trusted Name in News

Walter Leland Cronkite, Jr. (November 4, 1916 – July 17, 2009)

It's hard to believe this stalwart of a news anchor is gone. He was a constant voice amid the calamity of the second half of the 20th century. I remember his voice during the Cuban Missle Crisis, JFK's assassination followed by MLK and RFK shortly after that. He was the most trusted voice in the news at a time when trust was shaken from its very foundations. Trust is a virtue that once broken in this country has never really recovered, but Cronkite remained a voice of authority. He will be greatly missed.

Rangers fall to 2nd Place-Let's Hope this is not a pattern.

Meet Texas Rangers- We have now covered all the active players

Darren O-Day originates in Florida and played for the Los Angeles Angels. He is a right handed pitcher. He's won 2 and has an ERA of 1.82. Maybe he can find a way to beat them and get us back in first place?

Max Ramirez is a young player from Venezuela. I expect great things from this guy.His record with Venezuela was remarkable.
