Gone Phishing

Yogurt Flavors: Chocolate Decadence, World Class Vanilla, Devil's Food Cake, Grasshopper (Mint Flavor), Juicy Raspberry and Banana Macadamia Nut.

Teacher Day! All teachers can come in and get a small yogurt for only 99 cents. Just show your ID for today's special.

We got in a new line of baking mixes today from The Gourmet Cupboard. This new line has no sugar alcohols and some of the mixes are even no bake. Of course, all of the mixes are sugar free. We have several different varieties available: Peaches and Cream Pie, Cobbler, Peanut Butter Pie, Lemonade Pie, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Pie, Chocolate Cheesecake, Snickerdoodle Cookie.

We get a lot of different emails at the store. My favorites are the phishing schemes that come across. While some of them are slick productions that are almost identical to the real deal, others are like the two that come across the wire today. I'm pretty sure that these two PayPal phishing schemes were created by someone as a junior high computer programming project. (I will grant that the programs written now are a long way removed from the programs that I wrote in Basic language at North Junior High.)

While I'm sure that everyone has heard this at some point and time over the last few years, the best way to avoid getting scammed is to not click on the links provided in the emails. When we do get a snazzy one in the Inbox that looks like it might be legitimate, I'll open a new window in the browser and log in by entering the web correct web address for the site. Once I am in the site, I check to make sure that the message is not repeated there.
